Cat Got Your Tongue? No. Cat Has the Dog's Bed

Cats and Dogs can live together quite harmoniously. However, when you wonder who rules the roost, so to speak, the cats often have the upper paw. Just like small children, they need to learn to share, as so well shown in this video compilation from HooplaHa:

Here, it's not a cat stealing the dogs' bed. It's my Newfoundlands sharing OUR bed! My husband has them trained to sleep on my side of the bed, and they have me trained to sleep on my side on 6 inches at the edge. And yes, I HAVE been pushed out a few times! Usually, though, it's nice to cuddle with them, especially in winter!

LOL Thank you for sharing that, Lynne! I have a life-size mental image of that. :-) I'm sure it's a bonus in the Winter!

Love the video, Darlene......thank you for sharing. I also can remember only having a narrow section of the bed to sleep in, often "sleeping" with one leg in bed and one foot on the floor to stop myself from being totally edged out. Our dog Midge and Winston the cat, used to lay together on the sofa, but Ginger, our other cat, was nervous of Midge and sometimes also had to tolerate Winston "borrowing" his bed. All things considered, they got along well together.

Thank you for sharing that, Gordon. I'll confess that my Yorkie kept me hanging off the edge of the bed many nights. I think I put the chiropractor's kids through college. LOL

that was fantastic!! Cats definitely rule!! Luckily Dakota doesn't like using many dog beds...he has one that he uses that thankfully Cody doesn't always monopolize!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Caren. Yes, I think it was pretty obvious that cats rule and the dogs were too polite. LOL Not to mention frustrated. I'm glad Dakota and Cody can work it out to their satisfaction. :-)
